Meagan Briley, MD

Chief Resident
Pediatric Residency Program

M.D.
University of Virginia School of Medicine
Residency
Pediatrics - Vanderbilt University Medical Center

As a native North Carolinian, Meagan was born and raised in Greenville, a town revolving around little league baseball and vinegar-based barbecue. She completed her undergraduate studies at North Carolina State University and attended medical school at the University of Virginia.

During her time in Nashville as a pediatrics resident, Meagan enjoyed learning to be a better teacher and broadening her understanding of health inequities. She plans to carry this forward into a career in Pediatric Nephrology after graduation.

Outside of work, Meagan particularly enjoys reading, playing golf, wandering through the various museums in Nashville, and (for reasons even she cannot explain) watching the habitually ordinary NC State Wolfpack and Carolina Panthers play. However, as her friends would attest, her most treasured hobby is breakfast and exploring all the best breakfast spots Nashville has to offer.
