Promoting and enhancing the wellness of our faculty is a priority of the Department of Pediatrics. The Department of Pediatrics Faculty Wellness Committee was developed and charged by Department Chair Steve Webber and the Vice Chairs to:
- Propose and advance wellness initiatives within the Department of Pediatrics
- Work with others throughout VUMC to promote a culture of wellness
Like the faculty we serve, the members of the Wellness Committee span a variety of specialties, clinical and research interests, and life experiences. To facilitate communication across the Department, the committee also has liaison members of our Department of Pediatrics Staff Health and Wellness Committee and the Pediatrics eStar Forum.
