Dr. Orr is a board-certified general pediatrician and health services researcher. Dr. Orr’s research program focuses on understanding and addressing the social drivers of health, with a focus on food insecurity, on the growth and nutrition of children by designing and testing multi-faceted behavioral interventions in the primary care setting.

Jodi grew up in Farmington Hills, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. She completed her undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis and her medical degree at Des Moines University. Jodi has always had an interest in the developing brain, and she is so excited to begin her child neurology training here at Vanderbilt University Medical Center!
In her free time, Jodi enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Taylor, and blue heeler, Sriracha (yes, the same type of dog as Bluey!). She also loves being outside, listening to live music, and playing/watching tennis.

Yeli is originally from Massachusetts but received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, where she majored in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Neurobiology and Behavior. She then moved to Rochester, New York for medical school, during which she loved both her Neurology and Pediatric rotations. This prompted her to pursue a career in Child Neurology. She is excited to be moving to Nashville with her partner, John.
In her free time, Yeli enjoys baking, watching mystery shows, going on walks, and checking out the local coffee shop scene. Having only lived in the Northeast thus far, she is excited to explore a new part of the country and all the sights and activities within Nashville.

Cortney grew up in sunny Southern California. After high school, she moved to Georgia to attend Emory University, where she studied Neuroscience and played softball. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she developed an interest in medicine and was first introduced to the field of child neurology. She then attended the Medical College of Georgia, where she discovered specific interests in neurodevelopment and epilepsy.
Cortney enjoys spending her free time exploring the outdoors, kayaking, and cheering on her favorite sports teams. She is excited to explore Nashville with her fiancé, Tyler, and their dachshund, Buck.
