Kelsey Kolbe, MD
Medical School: Brown University
College: University of Oklahoma
Hometown: Vienna, Virginia
Kelsey Kolbe (she/her) grew up moving around overseas in the family of foreign service officer parents. She took a winding path to medicine, studying gender studies and classics at the University of Oklahoma. She also worked in LGBTQ+ community advocacy and gender-based violence prevention before completing a post-baccalaureate premedical program at Johns Hopkins. During medical school at Brown University, she led health equity research and developed a love for narrative medicine. As a pediatrician, she is especially excited to support children and teens in accessing comprehensive, inclusive healthcare. Kelsey loves lindy hop, feminist sci fi/fantasy books, and cats (her cat most of all)!
