Cat grew up in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin (Wis-KAHN-sin), a small town one hour north of Milwaukee. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for undergrad where she majored in Nutritional Sciences and Global Health. Following undergrad, Cat worked as an Emergency Department Coordinator at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics before moving to Chicago to work as a clinical research coordinator at Rush in the Department of Orthopedics. She was able to return back to Madison for medical school, spending four more years going to the Madison farmer’s market, cheering on the Badgers at Camp Randall, and exploring the amazing restaurant scene in Madison. Cat then moved to Nashville to complete her Pediatrics residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Cat enjoys spending time with her husband and high school sweetheart, Brendan, being outside biking, golfing, or grabbing a drink on a patio, and is always looking for friends to watch Packer games with her.
