Richard is from Littleton, MA, just northwest of Boston. He received his BSc in Physiology from McGill University in Montreal, QC, before fleeing the tundra and pursuing graduate and medical school back home at Boston University. He developed a love for neurological care of children in the neurocritical care setting and is pursuing a career in academic child neurology focusing on clinical research and medical education. Richard is excited for a new chapter back home at Boston Children's Hospital where he will be completing his pediatric epilepsy fellowship in 2024 prior to pursuing pediatric neurocritical care fellowship.

In his free time, Richard can be found in various comedy clubs around Nashville seeing his wife, Stephanie, perform, or enjoying the many outdoor spots that Nashville has to offer with his toddler daughter, Evie. Otherwise, he can be found playing board games with friends, reading (especially if there's a murder to be solved), cycling, cooking, and playing guitar.
