How to Apply

Vanderbilt recognizes that having a diverse and inclusive institution is critical to success, and we reaffirm our fervent commitment to fostering a culture in which diversity is a central tenet. We are interested in recruiting candidates from diverse backgrounds and experiences who are passionate about adolescent medicine and scholarly pursuit in the field.

Fellowship positions commence each July. Fellows are required to have had at least three years of residency training in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics-Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

Applicants should complete the ERAS common application for adolescent medicine fellowships and submit three letters of reference, including one from the applicant's Department Chairman or Program Director, by August 1 of the year prior to beginning the fellowship training. A letter of reference from an adolescent medicine faculty member is helpful, but not necessary. A curriculum vitae and personal statement are required. Based on application review by the Vanderbilt Adolescent Medicine faculty, fellow applicants may be awarded a personal interview to learn more about the program. Interviews may be conducted virtually. We fully participate in the National Resident Match Program.
