Adrienne grew up in rural Pennsylvania and later studied medical anthropology at the University of Pittsburgh. She traded the rolling, wooded hills for the magical sunsets of Phoenix, Arizona to attend A.T. Still University School of Medicine in Arizona & complete her pediatric residency training at Phoenix Children's Hospital. She found endocrinology both intellectually stimulating and deeply satisfying in watching children grow & bloom with their interventions.

Longing for rivers and forests, Adrienne set out for middle Tennessee with her husband, Zach, and their cat, Roger. Vanderbilt offered the perfect opportunity for her endocrinology career to grow & blossom itself! Here, she is exploring her interests in the impact of sex hormones on growth, development, and lipid metabolism. She spends much of her spare time tending her vegetable garden & indoor jungle, as well taking both outdoor & culinary adventures with her husband.
