Annie grew up outside of Minneapolis, MN. She obtained her B.A. in Biology and Spanish at Gustavus Adolphus College in MN. She received her M.D. from the University of Minnesota before moving to Milwaukee, WI to complete her pediatric residency.

Her research interests include congenital heart disease and bioethics. Outside of work, she enjoys visiting her family back in MN and spending time with her nieces. She likes to run, hike, and explore Tennessee.
