Vanderbilt Neonatal Clinical Repository

The Vanderbilt Neonatal Clinical Repository (VNCR) is linked to Synthetic Derivative and contains curated data on over 15,000 NICU patients. Over 900 of these records contain Whole Exome or Genome Wide DNA data. For more information, please contact Jennifer Sucre at jennifer.sucre@vumc.org.

Precision Medicine in Pediatric Cardiology (PMPC) Cohort

The PMPC cohort includes over 2,500 children who have undergone > 3,500 surgeries for congenital heart disease at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Post-operative outcomes are contained in an extensive study database and all have DNA samples, most with existing genome-wide data. For more information, please contact pedsprecisionmedicine@vumc.org.

Pilot Funding

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is a member of the MPRINT Hub, which serves as a national resource to conduct and foster therapeutics-focused research in obstetrics, lactation, and pediatrics while enhancing inclusion of people with disabilities. The MPRINT Hub is accepting applications to its Support Pool. The Support Pool is designed to fund innovative pilot or feasibility studies, or studies that address emerging needs or gaps in ongoing MPRINT projects. The goals of the study must align with the MPRINT mission, which is to foster and improve precision therapeutics in obstetrics, lactation, and pediatrics.

  • Support Pool Awards are managed by the VUMC and UCSD MPRINT sites.
  • If you are interested in applying for Support Pool funding, please visit the MPRINT website for more information.
