Dr. Nikita Lalchandani Day completed her Pediatrics residency at Louisiana State University, New Orleans. She earned her MBBS from the University of Queensland with pre-clinical years in Brisbane, Australia and with clinical years at Ochsner Health System in New Orleans. She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with a BS in Nutritional Science.

Her academic interests include nutrition and global health. With the mentorship of Dr. Fang Yan, Dr. Lalchandani Day is investigating the role of human oligosaccharides in prevention of colitis. Her extensive travels range from preparing and running a rural health clinic in Haiti to healthcare advocacy experience in the Philippines. Dr. Lalchandani Day enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, practicing yoga, and spending time with her husband and child.
