Research Information

Dr. Gover specializes in evaluating interventions that allow clients autonomy within effective, therapeutic processes for issues related to pediatric feeding disorders and dangerous problem behavior.  She strives to conduct research integrated with clinical practice, with the aim of bringing socially valid outcomes to scale. This sort of aim requires research in the contexts in which the problems have developed, and the solutions applied by the relative stakeholders.  Dr. Gover's research and practice have been guided by data-based values and an aim to incorporate trauma-informed care practices, increase the social acceptability of interventions, and collaborating directly with clients as much as possible in the development and carrying out of their clinical care.
