Erin grew up outside of Chicago, IL. She obtained her B.A. in Biology from Dartmouth College before receiving her M.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. Afterward, she headed back to Chicago to complete her pediatric residency.

Erin's research interests include healthcare policy, advocacy, and outcomes as it relates to very low birthweight and medically complex neonates. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and exploring the greater Tennessee area. She most enjoys spending time with her wife, Megan, dog, Granger, and two nephews.
