Clinical Interests
Congenital heart disease, advanced cardiac imaging (echocardiography, fetal echocardiography, cardiac MRI and CT) with a special interetst in 3D printing and virtual reality imaging rendering of complex congenital heart defects to help in the planning of surgical repairs. Dr. Parra is also the director of Quality Improvement for the Division of Pediatric Cardiology and is interested in clinical outcomes.
Research Information
Dr. Parra is interested in advanced non invasive imaging to determine early markers of cardiac dysfunction in patients with congenital heart disease and cardiomyopathy
