PGY 3

Medical School: University of Texas-Galveston
College: University of Texas-Austin
Hometown: Cypress, Texas

Meghan grew up in a suburb of Houston, Texas and studied anthropology while completing her pre-med studies at the University of Texas in Austin (Hook’Em!). As an avid lover of travel, she worked as an au pair in Spain, participated in an archaeological dig in Portugal, and has hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu among other travels with plenty more to come on her travel wish list! Entering medical school in the beach town of Galveston, Texas she knew after years of working with children that she wanted to be a pediatrician. While working through her medical studies, she met her now husband who successfully converted her into a cat lady. They are both so excited to live in Nashville with their two cats in tow. Outside of medicine and traveling, Meghan loves watching true crime documentaries, running, and cheering on her forever beloved LSU tigers (Geaux Tigers!!) Meghan is incredibly honored and grateful for the opportunity to achieve her dream of becoming a pediatrician at Vanderbilt.
