Mary Beth was born and raised in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She attended the University of Georgia and obtained her undergraduate degree in Biological Engineering. Ever since her time as a summer swim coach, she knew she loved working with children. In medical school at the Medical College of Georgia, she continued to develop her passion for the field of pediatrics.

In her free time, Mary Beth enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and cheering for her Dawgs and hometown Atlanta Braves.
