Pediatric Residency Program

M.D.
Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans
Residency
Pediatrics - Vanderbilt University Medical Center

Christopher was born and raised with his two siblings in the rural town of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. He moved to New Orleans for college, where he received a degree in Biological Chemistry and minor in Mathematics from Tulane University. Christopher continued his medical education at LSU Medical School in New Orleans, where his long-known love of primary care in pediatrics — particularly providing care to underserved populations, sexual health, and food insecurities— became solidified. He ventured out of Louisiana to Nashville to complete his pediatric residency at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Throughout these three years, he discovered his passion for medical education and how well it overlapped with his clinical interests, and intends on continuing into Primary Care after his chief year.

Outside of the hospital, when not spending time in his garden or with his sweet puppy (Dolly), Christopher enjoys the Nashville live music scene, discovering new restaurants, experimenting with new recipes, and attending performances at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC).
