Jay received his undergraduate degree in neuroscience from St. Lawrence University, where he also played college football, and then went on to complete his medical degree at USF Health College of Medicine. During his pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children's, he examined the use of residency sensitive quality measures informing Entrustable Professional Activities for better resident evaluations and preparation for independent practice.
Jay is an avid sports fan and follows all college football. In his love of the Green Bay Packers, he is an official "owner" of the team.

Kelli was born in Birmingham, Alabama but grew up primarily in Franklin, Tennessee. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. degree in Biology before attending Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. She completed her pediatric residency at University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina before joining the pediatric endocrinology fellowship at Vanderbilt. Kelli has not decided on a research focus but has specific interest in thyroid disease including thyroid cancer. Abhi grew up in Dallas, Texas. Under the Health Science Scholars Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin, she received her B.S.A. degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Ethics in Healthcare. She first discovered her passion for working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities early in high school, and further developed this interest at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she earned her D.O. degree. It didn’t take long for her to realize that Child Neurology was the right path for her to continue growing this passion. She is excited about developing this passion into a career in Epilepsy.
In her free time, she loves to travel to different countries and experience the wide array of cultures and food that there is to explore. To continue her passion for dance, she has been taking salsa classes recently. She can't wait to continue exploring Nashville and all that it has to offer!

Miles was born in the suburbs of Chicago and moved to Dallas at the age of seven. From an early age, he was interested in playing Xbox and watching SpongeBob. He attended college at Southern Methodist University, where he majored in Biology. He then attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. While in medical school, he developed an interest in pediatric neurology and child development after spending time with some of the wonderful physicians at Cook Children's Medical Center. He is proud to be a resident in the Vanderbilt child neurology program.
Outside of medicine, Miles is a classical music fanatic. He especially likes the music of Mahler, Berlioz, and (if he has 2 hours to kill) Bruckner. He is also a barbecue enthusiast and holds the honor of being the world's most mediocre tuba player.
