Rosemary was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She attended The University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!) where she majored in Neuroscience and Behavior with a minor in Poverty Studies. She moved back to Texas for medical school where she attended Baylor College of Medicine. While in Houston, she earned her Master of Public Health at UTHealth School of Public Health with a concentration in pediatric nutrition and obesity research.

Outside of medicine, she loves cooking, reading, hiking, and spending time with her husband and their dog.
