Welcome to the Division of Developmental Medicine

Zachary Warren, PhD

The Division of Developmental Medicine is dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care, high-quality medical education, and innovative clinical research for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families.

We specialize in the assessment and treatment of children with a wide range of developmental needs. Our clinics offer developmental screening, comprehensive medical evaluation and treatment, and psychological assessment and intervention. We care for children with concerns such as autism, cerebral palsy and spasticity, intellectual disability, developmental delay, and ADHD.

We work closely with the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center (VKC). Within VKC, the Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD) leads research across diverse areas, including new approaches for early and rapid identification of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), federally funded efforts to understand ASD prevalence across Tennessee, studies of treatment outcomes in educational and early intervention settings, and collaborations focused on developing innovative training methods and technologies.

Developmental Medicine Research

Education is central to our mission. Through our strong fellowship program, we provide future developmental-behavioral pediatricians with an exceptional training experience, meaningful mentorship and support, and opportunities to grow as academic leaders and specialists.

Thank you for your interest. We invite you to explore our website to learn more about the division, and to contact us with questions or potential opportunities for collaboration.

Sincerely,
