Why I Chose Vanderbilt: The academic community at VUMC is incredibly collaborative and supportive. I was looking for a fellowship with strong leadership and mentorship, as well as the flexibility to pursue my passions for global health education and advocacy for vulnerable populations. Vanderbilt feels like the perfect fit. And it doesn't hurt that we're in such a lively, fun city!

Personal Interests: Outside of the hospital, I enjoy running, strength training, playing basketball, dancing, watching tv, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
Why I Chose Vanderbilt: What stood out most to me was the sense of belonging. The division felt like a close-knit family who were warm, supportive, and genuinely invested in each other's success. I was inspired by how intelligent yet approachable everyone was, the faculty's dedication to education and teaching, their diverse scholarly interests, and the collaborative culture that encourages growth, curiosity, and meaningful mentorship.
