Taylor is a native of Lehigh County, Pennsylvania and graduated from Rollins College with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She attended medical school at Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she met her husband, and returned to her hometown to complete her pediatric residency at Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital. During her chief year, she developed a passion for simulation based medical education and point of care ultrasound education for pediatric residents.

In her free time, Taylor enjoys practicing yoga, perfecting her sourdough bread recipe, volunteering as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks - Wooo Pig Sooie!
