Kamerin was born and raised in New Braunfels, TX. She completed undergraduate training at Baylor University, where she majored in Biology with a secondary major in Spanish and a minor in Biochemistry. She then moved to Fort Worth to attend medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.
Kamerin is passionate about advocating for patients and helping to bridge the gap between complex genetic information and compassionate care. She loves building lasting patient relationships and empowering families with knowledge, support, and accessible resources.
Outside of work, Kamerin enjoys live music, reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their Siberian cat, June.
