Reducing Overuse of Antibiotics with Decision Support (ROADS): Randomized Clinical Trial

This page contains educational materials to support clinicians engaged in the study.

What is the ROADS trial?

The ROADS trial began in late 2024. It tests the effectiveness of EHR-enabled, stewardship-guided, clinical decision support for pediatric respiratory illness. Enrollment into ROADS is automated based on ED triage data, including triage chief complaint and documentation of cough and/or abnormal respiratory effort
