Dr. Michael Robinson is a junior investigator specializing in cancer care delivery and health outcomes during and after therapy among pediatric and adolescent and young adult (AYA) patients. His research to date has centered on understanding the short- and long-term health and psychosocial outcomes in individuals with sarcoma across the lifespan. His long-term goal is to translate these insights into interventions that mitigate adverse outcomes, ultimately improving survival and quality of life for survivors.

During his fellowship training, Dr. Robinson was awarded two NCI-funded T32 training grants. Upon joining the faculty in the division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, he received a K12 award through the Vanderbilt Clinical Oncology Research Career Development Program (VCORCDP). He also holds a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation (MSCI) from Vanderbilt University.
