Jade Harshbarger, MD
Undergraduate: Ball State University
Medical School: Indiana University
Jade is from Muncie, IN where she attended Ball State University and received a bachelor's degree in Biology. She then attended Indiana University School of Medicine where she discovered a love for interacting with patients and families dealing with chronic neurologic diseases, so she decided to pursue pediatric neurology. She also met her husband, Adam, in medical school, and together, they came to Vanderbilt for residency training in neurology.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, running, reading, and binge watching her favorite TV shows (The Office, in particular). She has grown to love the initial diagnosis and treatment of children with a wide array of neurologic symptoms, as well as increasing access to pediatric neurology in the community setting, and will be practicing as a general pediatric neurologist after residency.
