Research Information

Dr. Johnson is interested in using quality improvement methods to improve the care of children. His work has focused on improving value within the hospital by standardizing care, decreasing unnecessary interventions, and reducing hospital acquired conditions some as catheter associated UTIs and pressure injuries. He also has an interest in teaching these methods to residents and fellows as well as faculty and staff through different courses offered through the Pediatrics department and children's hospital.
