Amelia was born in Clearwater, FL and raised in the Florida sunshine. She attended the University of Florida for undergraduate studies. Upon graduating, Amelia returned to her hometown as a substitute teacher, and taught high school math. She decided to stay beachside and attended Florida Atlantic University College of Medicine for medical school. After graduating from medical school, she married Michael, her high school sweetheart, and headed to Nashville for residency. Here in Nashville, Amelia and Michael welcomed their daughter, Peyton.

Outside of medicine, Amelia likes to spend as much time as she can outdoors with her family. She enjoys running, hiking, and a good farmers market.
