Center for Clinical and Translational Research (CCTR)

The staff and resources of the Center for Clinical and Translational Research are available to provide expert support for all phases of our faculty’s child health research including study start-up and close-out, IRB and other regulatory compliance aspects, budgeting and contracting, scheduling and conduct of research patient encounters, research data entry, biospecimen handling, and other support services as needed. All our research coordinators and nurses are trained in the principles of Good Clinical Practice. Our faculty are available for epidemiological and biostatistical consults at every phase of the development and conduct of a research study. We are constantly striving to expand and improve our research support portfolio to better support our faculty and fellows’ research endeavors.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Center for Clinical and Translational Research is to support all aspects of the child health research endeavors of the faculty and fellows of the Department of Pediatrics with an emphasis on the principles of Good Clinical Practice and at all times prioritizing the well-being of our young research participants and their families.
