MacKenzie Wyatt was adopted from Vietnam and raised in the small town of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. She studied neuroscience at Emory University and returned to her roots to attend medical school at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine (Go Cats!). As a singer and amateur ukulele and piano player, MacKenzie is very excited to call Music City home and explore all the live concerts in Nashville. She previously performed as Moana at children’s hospitals and birthday parties to raise money for pediatric oncology. In addition to music, she enjoys painting, traveling, reading fiction, baking, and eating fried chicken. MacKenzie is honored to be part of the Vanderbilt Pediatric Residency program and serve her patients and their families.
