Holly Harper, MD

PGY 3

Medical School: Vanderbilt University
College: Dartmouth College
Hometown: Austin, Texas

Holly was born in New Orleans, but soon moved to Austin, Texas where she grew up with her parents, younger brother, and beloved dogs. She fell in love with the sport of volleyball in third grade and never looked back. She continued her journey from Texas to New Hampshire, where she played collegiate volleyball and earned a degree in Psychology from Dartmouth College. After college, she started coaching volleyball and realized her love of working with children. Following in the family footsteps, Holly then ventured to Tennessee for medical school at Vanderbilt where she has loved becoming part of the Nashville community. Outside of medicine, Holly loves to cook and host dinner for friends, travel, read, spend time outdoors, watch (too many) sports, and try new workout classes. She is a long time Texas Longhorn and New Orleans Saints fan, and she cannot spend enough time with her two adorable dogs, Annabelle and Rico. She is so humbled and excited to be a “Double ‘Dore” and continue her training at the wonderful Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
