Brittany is from Westport, Connecticut and started her career at Vanderbilt with her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience. She then worked in electronic health record implementation for two years, followed by both medical school and Child Neurology residency at Vanderbilt (making her a "triple 'Dore!"). She is interested in a career in academic child neurology with a focus on neuromuscular medicine, and she is passionate about patient engagement and medical education.

Brittany and her husband, Stephen, enjoy cooking and hosting dinner parties, hiking and camping with their dog, Sadie, and traveling (including trips to four foreign countries and 21 states during residency so far!). While it will be bittersweet to leave Vanderbilt and Nashville, Brittany is excited for a new chapter in Salt Lake City at University of Utah/Primary Children’s Hospital for her pediatric neuromuscular fellowship in 2023.
