Course Description:
The pediatric asthma conference will provide the latest pediatric asthma information and clinical updates, as well as review fundamental asthma concepts, including guidelines for the diagnosis and management of asthma, spirometry, and medication administration.
Target Audience:
This course is designed for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, respiratory therapists, pediatric and school nurses, and other health professionals who care for children with asthma.
Continuing Education:
Physicians:
This activity has been submitted for Continuing Medical Education credits through the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should only claim the credit with the extent of their participation in this activity.
Nursing Education:
Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Department of Nursing Education and Professional Development is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Tennessee Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
Respiratory Education:
Application has been made to the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) for CEUs for respiratory therapists.
